Tapping into Water

A shared strategy for equal access to water and drinks for healthy people and a healthy planet

Tapping into Water (2019-2025) is the strategy for the promotion of tap water and other healthier drink options across North East Melbourne. The Strategy was developed by the North East Healthy Drinks Alliance, fourteen organisations that are working together to support health equity and environmental outcomes by addressing high sugary drink intake and single-use plastic bottles.

Tapping into Water draws on available frameworks and strategies to apply an evidence-based and collective impact approach.

Our Shared Goals

The Monitoring and Evaluation Framework

The Monitoring and Evaluation Framework seeks to guide an overarching and consistent approach for the Alliance to evaluate the outcomes of Tapping into Water.

North East Healthy Communities acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land we work on. We pay our respects to their Elders both past and present and acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first people of this nation.
