Tapping into Water has been written with the understanding that wellbeing is influenced by the social, economic, cultural, built and natural conditions in which we are born, grow, learn, live, work and age. As a basic human right, all people, at all times, should have access to safe, sufficient, nutritious food and drinks to maintain a healthy and active life. Likewise, all people should have the opportunity to enjoy a range of drinks as part of a balanced diet, and live in communities free from single-use plastic pollution.
North East Healthy Communities acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land we work on. We pay our respects to their Elders both past and present and acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first people of this nation.
